Rothko-esque
For this assignment, I used art rage 2 deluxe instead of photoshop. I first started off coloring the background with a mix of purple and blue paint. Then once i was finished with the background, I used the airbrush tool to spray light blue, yellow, and green paint on top of he background. Finally, I blended the colors together still managing to keep a square shape.

9 panel comic
I used my original shaded cartoon and applied it to my comic. Then I worked on the other backgrounds from the cartoon folder. I then colored and shaded my cartoon characters to fit the scene and added dialogue. Once I was done with all my panels I put them all together in a 9-panel comic.

shaded cartoon
For the shaded cartoon assignment, i first choose a background. Then i filled it in using the paint bucket tool. After that, i experimented with some shading techniques and i used the blending tool so that the image looked shaded. after i was done with the background, i filled in the cartoon mom, dad, and son and used the magnetic lasso tool to cut them out and place them on the background. i flipped the mom cartoon horizontally so that i could make it look like she was running away from her son with the bucket of green paint.

bird coloring page
For this assignment, I took a coloring book page of a bird and I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut out various types of feathers. I then added the feathers to the bird shaping the feathers and the size so that they will fit. I then added a gradient background.
