Rothko-esque
For this assignment, I used art rage 2 deluxe instead of photoshop. I first started off coloring the background with a mix of purple and blue paint. Then once i was finished with the background, I used the airbrush tool to spray light blue, yellow, and green paint on top of he background. Finally, I blended the colors together still managing to keep a square shape.

9 panel comic
I used my original shaded cartoon and applied it to my comic. Then I worked on the other backgrounds from the cartoon folder. I then colored and shaded my cartoon characters to fit the scene and added dialogue. Once I was done with all my panels I put them all together in a 9-panel comic.

shaded cartoon
For the shaded cartoon assignment, i first choose a background. Then i filled it in using the paint bucket tool. After that, i experimented with some shading techniques and i used the blending tool so that the image looked shaded. after i was done with the background, i filled in the cartoon mom, dad, and son and used the magnetic lasso tool to cut them out and place them on the background. i flipped the mom cartoon horizontally so that i could make it look like she was running away from her son with the bucket of green paint.

Albrecht_Durer
For this assignment, I took an image of a white wolf, and erased the background of snow. Then i made the picture gray and used the graphic pen to fill in the wolf. It took a few minutes to adjust the graphic pen to exactly how i wanted it, but it ended up turning out how i wanted it. Then i put the background and the wolf together.

Gorey assignment
For the Gorey assignment, I used the cookie cuter to cut trees, birds, a moon, a deer, a cat , and a trail road to give it a forest look. I drew my own person and had her hold an umbrella and a flower( or a hydrangea). Then I came up with a rhyme that was close enough to my name. Then I added the background.

Celebrity_coloring_book_page
For this assignment, I chose to trace Emma Watson. I chose this photo specifically because her hat was cute. I Started tracing her and made sure to trace all the lines for detail. I wanted to make the curls in her hair stand out along with the folds in her shirt.

cartoon_masterpeice
For this assignment, I used the painting called Wheat Field with Cypresses at the Haute Galline near Eygalieres by Vincent Van Gogh because i liked how he used impressionism. I used brush 14 around size 17 to create the impressionism effect. I kept tracing the original with small strokes so that the lines weren't too big. Then i kept blending the colors with the special smudge tool. And as i did that, i kept blending all different types of colors that weren't the same but looked nice when together.
